Obituary

Timothy Michael Harrison, 62, of Madison, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on October 1, 1962, in Michigan to Robert and Roberta Harrison. Timothy was a man whose heart was firmly rooted in his faith in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. With an unwavering belief in God, he lived his life with compassion, grace, and a deep sense of purpose. Timothy's love for his family was immeasurable, always putting them first and cherishing every moment spent with them. He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, constantly celebrating their accomplishments and encouraging them to follow their dreams. Beyond his family, Timothy was a man of many talents. An avid hunter, he reveled in the outdoors, enjoying the solitude and excitement of the hunt. Timothy was also a gifted carpenter, known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. If something needed fixing, Timothy was the one you called-the ultimate "MacGyver," always able to find a solution to any problem with a mix of resourcefulness, creativity, and skill. Timothy's humor was another key part of his character. A true jokester, he had a knack for making people laugh, often lightening the mood with his quick wit and infectious smile. His crystal blue eyes twinkled with mischief and warmth, and his generosity knew no bounds. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, always putting others before himself. A man of faith, love, and laughter, Timothy's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and a reminder of how to live with love, laughter, and a giving spirit. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kara Harrison; his children, Heather Harrison, David (Amy) Harrison, Christopher (Hilary) Harrison, and Lauren (Benjamin) Wilson; his siblings, Bruce Harrison, and John (Kim) Harrison; his grandchildren, Gabriela Harrison, Emma Harrison, Willow Harrison, Tate Harrison, Crew Harrison, Ivy Harrison, Eddie Wilson, and Henry Wilson; and his brother-in-law, Mark Thompson. Timothy was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Jeanette Thompson. Services for Timothy will be private.
