Thai Cao Tran, 66, of Leominster, MA, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Hospice of the Piedmont Center for Acute Hospice Care. He was born on June 27, 1958, in Vietnam to the late, Tran Van Thuong and Nguyen Thi Tong. Mr. Tran had a big smile and warm welcome to everyone he encountered. In the community, he was passionate about helping anyone, especially the Vietnamese community. He had a great sense of humor, and it brought him joy to put a smile on people's faces. He loved being outdoors, being by the water, fishing, early morning walks, and eating out at breakfast diners. At home he was a chef, cooking all the great Vietnamese soups and dishes and enjoying them with his family. He is known to be devoted to his family and loved them unconditionally. His family is beyond grateful for all of the sacrifices he made and all the love he gave. He is forever loved and will be very much missed. He is survived by his devoted children, Diem Tran, Toan Tran, and Kevin Tran; and his brothers, Phuong Tran, and Thomas Tran. Services for Mr. Tran may be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, social workers, and staff of the University of Virginia Medical Center and Hospice of the Piedmont for their love and kindness shown during this difficult process.
