Teresa Sellers Cianciotti, 71, passed away peacefully at home in Madison, VA surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 10th, 2022. Teresa was born on June 30th, 1951, to her mother, Vivian Ransome Miller and the late Clyde Sellers. Teresa met the love of her life, Melvin Cianciotti in High School and the two married on December 28, 1968 and were married for 54 years. They had two children, Jeffrey & Jennifer. Teresa was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend who loved her family deeply. She had a long successful career in the banking, and mortgage underwriting industry. She was a strong independent woman and excelled at everything she put her mind to. Once retired, she treasured spending time with her five beloved grandchildren and was lovingly known as Meme to all. Teresa loved baking, gardening, spending time with her family, and most importantly, she knew and loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother, Vivian Ransome Miller; her beloved husband of 54 years, Melvin Cianciotti; two children, her son, Jeffrey Wade Cianciotti and wife Kari, and their three children, Tyler Rae, Joshua Scott, and Luke Austin Cianciotti; her daughter, Jennifer Teefey and husband Drew, and her children Anthony Doyle III and Melanie Leigh Gentry; a sister, Patsy S. Bartolo and family; a brother, Clyde Calvin Sellers and family; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Etlan Community Church, 217 Church Hill Road, Etlan, VA 22719.
