Sylvia Trenum, 74, of Warrenton, Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 1st of 2024, surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on July 3rd of 1949 to the late, Donald and Alice Trenum of Warrenton, Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, John South; her daughter, Kelli Jo Carpenter; and her grandson, Tyler South. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina (David) Adams; her daughter-in-law, Donna South; her brother, Donald (Billie) Trenum; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew. Sylvia will be remembered as an eccentric soul. In the end she rejoiced in knowing she was going home to her Lord and Savior. A private service will be held by invitation only.
