Scott Ashley Payne, 41, of Buckingham, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, following a tragic accident. He was born on August 24, 1980, son of Donna and Joseph Hale, and Daniel and Shirley Payne. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Anne Tyler Lesueur; his children, Krista, Joshua, Alexus, Mason, and Daniel Payne; his stepchildren, Tyler and Brianna Lesueur, and Annelynn Mcfadden; his brothers, Jamie (Bret) and Jonathan Payne; special friends, Ryan (Nutz) Cochran (Samantha Johnson), Danny (Spanky) Myers, and Freddie (Mac) Birkhead. He was preceded in death by his brother, Josh. Scott will be missed by many with his big heart, his willingness to help, and his fun-loving attitude.
