Ryan Dean Gibbs

In loving memory of Ryan Dean Gibbs.

Ryan Dean Gibbs, 42, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on July 4, 2026. He was born May 23, 1984, in Hampton, Virginia. 

Ryan was a loving son, father, and friend to many. He graduated from Western Albemarle High School in 2002 and from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 2004. He was a self-employed handyman. 

Ryan is survived by his mother, Joyce Gibbs; his son, August "Gus" Revak Gibbs; and his fiancée, Sylvie Revak.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gibbs; and his grandparents, Freeman and Vergie Deane, and Richard and Odie Gibbs. 

A time for a memorial service has not been determined, and will be announced at a later date.
