Ronnie Steven Thacker, 66, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home. He was born on October 23, 1959, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Fred and Ruby Thacker.

Ronnie attended Charlottesville High School and later studied at Piedmont Virginia Community College. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and dedicated many years of service to the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) before retiring.

He is survived by his brother, David Thacker of Charlottesville; a special cousin and friend, Otis Shiflett; and extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Guthrie Thacker.

A service to honor Ronnie’s life will be announced at a later date.
