Rocky Morris, born October 27, 1965, in Charlottesville, VA, went to join our Heavenly Father on July 6, 2026, after his long battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Rae Conley, and his father, Raymond Shifflett.

He left behind his devoted wife of 40 years, Jane Morris; son, Rocky Morris Jr.; daughter, Amanda Morris, and her husband, Richard Wingfield; his beloved grandsons, Gauge Lee Morris and Richard Wingfield Jr.; his granddaughter, MaKayla Morris Moya; numerous siblings, Paula Watson, Sandy Jo Paynter, Earl Paynter, Victor Paynter, William "Billy" Wood, Travis Shifflett, Chelsea Morrison, Christine Deane, Harland Shifflett and his wife, Ruth "Tootie" Shifflett, and Carl "Buster" Shifflett.

Special mention to Harland Shifflett and his wife, Ruth, and to Carl "Buster" Shifflett for being there, supporting Rocky and Jane during his long battle.

Rocky enjoyed drag racing, and he loved to work on and race cars.

He also leaves behind his beloved 8 cats (Baby Boy, Muffin Man, Fluff Butt, Nuggie, Chewy, Bell Bell, Needy, and Snuggles) and his loyal dog, Midget.

Rocky's wish was to be cremated. A memorial will be announced at a later date for family and friends.
