Patsy Ann Treakle, 72, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 3, 1952, in Albemarle County to the late, James and Ruby Barnett. Patsy was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and quiet strength. Guided by her spiritual beliefs, she lived her life with compassion and grace, always putting the needs of others before her own. A devoted home health aide, Patsy found true purpose in caring for others, offering comfort, dignity, and kindness to each patient she served. Her work was more than a job, it was a calling, and she fulfilled it with gentle hands and a generous heart. Among her greatest joys in life were her beloved grandbabies. Nothing lit up her world more than their laughter, hugs, and the special moments they shared together. She cherished her role as "Grandma" above all titles, filling her home and their hearts with warmth and unconditional love. Patsy will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to family, and the quiet, powerful way she touched the lives of everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she cared for and the family she loved so deeply. She is survived by her son, Simon Treakle and his wife, Shannon; her daughter, Jessica Lamb; her grandchildren, Emily, Tranquility, Destiny, and Serenity; her siblings, Linda Breeden, Brenda Mejia, and Drury "Sonny" Barnett; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Sillett. A celebration to honor Patsy's life may be announced at a later date.
