Novella Dujuan Jefferson, 73, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on March 3, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thomas Jackson and Ethelene Dunlap-Jackson. She is survived by her siblings, Tommy Al-Rashada, Elaine Dunlap, and Norman Dunlap; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She took special interest in the care of her nephews, Zayd and Yazeed Al-Rashada, until her passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Karen D. Jackson and Zelda Jackson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:30 am at Amicus Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Armando Lopez officiating.
