Mary Jane Dodson, 82, of Brightwood, VA, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Autumn Care of Madison. She was born on October 6, 1943, in Madison, VA, to the late John Madison Weakley and Emmie Blanche Weakley.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Woodward (husband, Mark), and Debbie Bryant; her grandchildren, Brittany A. Shifflett, Jarek Chase Brockman, and Kaitlyn A. Brockman; her great granddaughters, Emma Shifflett and Shelby Shifflett; her great grandson, Wyatt Shifflett; and her sister, Reagenia L. Knighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel R. Dodson; her son, Ricky W. Brockman; and her brother-in-law, Charles C. Knighton.
A service to honor Mary Jane’s life will be announced at a later date.
