Mae Katherine Gibson, 66 of Palmyra, VA, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on July 23, 1956, to the late Dorothy Morris Gibson. She is survived by her children, Lisa Eddy (Melvin Morris), Charles Eddy Jr. (Gloria), Angel Garfield, and Angela Farrish (John); siblings, Mark Gibson, James Gibson, Betty Snow, and Lewis Gibson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren (including two on the way), family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eddy; daughter, Stephanie Wheaton; brother, David Morris; and son-in-law, John Garfield. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Gibson will be announced at a later date.
