Kenneth Paul Nadle

Kenneth Paul Nadle, age 83, passed away peacefully in his home in Buckingham, Virginia on August 24, 2026. Ken was born on August 16, 1943 in New York City to Lawrence and Sylvia Nadle and raised in Lynbrook, New York.

From an early age, Ken took a keen interest in photography and kept it for the rest of his life. He developed an accomplished portfolio of street, nature, and documentary photographs, producing images that have been exhibited publicly and donated to museums and historical societies.

Ken graduated from Long Island University with a BA in Liberal Arts. He was drafted into the US Army during the Vietnam War and served honorably, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He married Linda Raisbeck of Lynbrook, New York while completing his military service and they welcomed two sons.

After his discharge from the Army and a brief career in insurance Ken pursued his passion for photography alongside self-employment with deep connections to the art world, manufacturing custom art stretchers for some of the most famous painters of the era, including Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, and David Salle.

Following Linda’s untimely death, Ken was raising his two teenage sons alone when he met and fell in love with Maria Esperanza Argüello. They married and eventually found a loving and supportive community around Yogaville in Buckingham, Virginia, where Ken was very happy to spend his final years. He will be dearly missed by the Nadle and Argüello families and many friends.

Ken is survived by his wife, Maria Esperanza; his sons, David (Eunjoo) Nadle and Jeremy (Denise) Nadle; brother, Daniel (Susan) Nadle; and grandchildren, Kevin, Linda, and Meghan.

A memorial service is planned for a future date.
