Joyce Anne Garrison, 76, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Skyline Manor Nursing Home. She was born on September 11, 1947, to the late Clarence and Arvenie Shifflett. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Garrison and fianc� James Blankenship, Jr.; her grandchildren, Caitlin Sharp, and Stephen Aaron Sharp; her great grandson, Isaiah Sharp; siblings, Clarence M. Shifflett Jr., Gregory Shifflett, John M. Shifflett, Emily Wright, Martha Shifflett, Brenda Marsh, Harvey Shifflett, and Shannon Naylor; and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Toney. A Celebration of Life may be announced at a later date.
