Jane Riley Bowling, 91, of Charlottesville VA, died on September 11, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1931, to the late John J. Riley and Veronica Riley of Washington DC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Bowling Jr.; her sister, Sr. Maryellen Riley, OSB; and her three brothers, Dennis, Jack, and James Riley. She is survived by her son, Charles Bowling III and wife Nancy of Lancaster SC; daughter, Laure Taylor of Charlottesville; son, Patrick Bowling of Los Angeles CA; and many treasured nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish, 401 Alderman Rd., Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:30 am. A funeral will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte NC on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 1pm in the Daily Mass Chapel.
