James Floyd Dallinger, 69, of Troy, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born on September 4, 1952 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Floyd and Eileen Dallinger. Mr. Dallinger served our country in the United States Air Force Reserve and later went to Purdue University where he earned his degree with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Upon his retirement from Case New Holland (CNH) after 40 years, he spent his days in his woodshop creating memories for his friends and family and spoiling his grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cathy Dallinger (Crowe); his son, Justin Dallinger and his wife, Ioana; his daughter, Teresa Levisay and her husband, Mike; his grandchildren, Edward, Torin, and Cassian; and his siblings, Mary Zickmund and husband, Andrew, and Gene Dallinger and wife, Wanda. A private service for Mr. Dallinger will be held at a later date.
