Helen Marie Koury, 88, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on September 10th, 2026. Helen was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 3rd, 1938 to Magid and Josephine Koury. She is survived by one brother Dr. Philip Koury and his wife Dr. Diane Koury, two daughters, Debra Inman, Leslie Tapscott and husband Bernard, and a son James Inman and wife Lora. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Wade E. Inman of Canton, NC.

Helen was the epitome of what it means to be a follower of Christ. She loved God and loved others well. She was kind and generous to everyone she met including family, friends and strangers off the street. She was a wonderful and dedicated mother and grandmother who devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family. Her love, guidance, and unwavering support were a blessing to those around her, and she cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. Helen also loved her cats and was an amazing cook, especially when preparing Lebanese food. She will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, generosity, and the love she so freely gave to her family and others. We will cherish the many beautiful memories she gave us and miss her wisdom and kindness always.

Her final resting place will be in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. Arrangements still pending.
