Gregory Wade "Hammer" Sandridge, 58, of White Hall, VA, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, after a short illness. He was born on November 3, 1965, to the late Elwood "Bootsie" Wade Sandridge and Barbara Knight Sandridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Travis Sandridge, Justin Sandridge, Amy Sandridge, and Christi Dibble. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Cindy Thacker Sandridge; his children, Gregory Wayne Sandridge (Tori), Tiffany Sandridge, and Chelsea Sandridge; his grandchildren, Kholton, Rian, and Noah Sandridge; his siblings, Meghan Sandridge, Lori Raines, and Amanda Sandridge; two special cousins, Ricky and Dale Conley; a special aunt, Carol Conley-Stepp; special friends and employer, Willy Ralston and Sheila; very dear friends, Keith and Mary Ellen Ford; and a truly devoted friend, Victoria Rosalez, who was always ready to help no matter what. Greg loved her so much and thought of her as his own daughter. The family would also like to express their love and gratitude to Jean and David Hammond for everything they have done and being by Greg and Cindy's side through it all. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Church Pavilion in White Hall, 4492 Garth Rd., Crozet, VA 22932, with Pastor Duane Johnson officiating.
