Glenda Marie Colon Rolon, 25, of Mineral, VA passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. She was born on May 13, 1998, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to her loving parents, Guillermo Colon and Maria Rolon of Mineral, VA. To those who knew Glenda, will always remember her shining happiness. Her big, beautiful, contagious smile would light up anyone's day. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Mariely Nicole Colon Rolon, Naomi Enid Colon Rolon, and Rey Anthony Rolon; her grandparents, Milca and (Daniel Griffith), and Angel Rolon; her aunts, Milca L. Contreras (David), Lillian Torres (Vladimer), Dilka Ortiz (Esdras), Decia Rivera (Jose Espada), Mayra Muzyczek (Luis Armando Graulau), and Sherrill Brutus (Arhmid Denson); her paternal uncles, Andres Colon (Gilly Gonzales), GualBerto Rivera (Susana), and Angel Rivera; her nieces and nephews, Liam Aaron Newcomb, Zuri Nicole Crews, Kiara Stella Crews, Gianni, Zy'l, Aiya'li, Makhalian, Zamari, Zakel, Zhcarter, and Nsai; her maternal cousins, Angela Cidmary, Susan Stephanie, and Yoninka Omar; her great cousins, Emerson Mateo, Sara Sofia, and Gema Nicole; and her devoted bird, Blueberry and loving dog, Pebbles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maria Mateo, and Orlando Colon. A Celebration of Life will be held on, what would have been her birthday, Monday, May 13, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Slate Mills Baptist Church, 10 Church Lane, Sperryville, VA 22740.
