Eric Shawn Hord, 56, of Ruckersville, VA passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on January 3, 1966, in Washington DC to Peggy Hord and the late Leroy Hord. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Ashley, Rebecca, and Jessica Hord; grandson, Roger Foster; and siblings, Kathy Hensley, Eron Hord, and Enoch Hord. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Peggy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Stanardsville Baptist Church, 103 Madison Rd., Stanardsville, VA 22973, with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.
