Donald Wayne Roach, 78, of Stanardsville, VA, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Greene Acres Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on November 8, 1946, in Charlottesville, VA, to the late Talley and Vergie Roach. Wayne was a man who lived life with honesty, laughter, and heart. He loved spending his time shooting pool and riding horses, two passions that brought him great joy. For many years, he owned and operated Ruckersville Floors, where his hard work, craftsmanship, and integrity earned him the respect of his customers and friends alike. Wayne was a man true of his word and always dependable. Those who knew him will remember his big heart and great sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Roach; son, Jeffery Roach; brother, Bill Roach (wife, Liz); grandchildren, Taylor Roach and Trent Roach; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Roach; and his siblings, Marie Shifflett, Elizabeth Smith (husband, Bobby), and Enos Roach. A graveside service to honor Wayne's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Joe Tucker officiating.
