Dieter Gerke, 81, of Barboursville, VA passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Germany on April 12, 1942, to the late Karl and Greta Gerke. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Holland Wemple-Gerke; his children, Dwayne Lindsay, Michael Gerke (Melissa), and Anita Gerke; and his grandchildren, Evan Mills and Emily Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Gerke. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Amicus Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3980 Jacks's Shop Rd, Rochelle, VA.
