David Lee Bywaters, 66, of Gordonsville, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 1, 1959, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Paul and Myrtle Bywaters.
David lived life on his own terms. In his younger years, he enjoyed socializing and spending time with friends. Later in life, he embraced a quieter pace, finding comfort in familiar routines, favorite television shows, and time at home. Despite the challenges he faced, including lifelong deafness and health concerns, David's journey was uniquely his own. He will be remembered with love by those who knew him best.
He is survived by his siblings, Paul Bywaters and Patricia Boykin; niece and nephew, Virginia Hoover and JC Boykin; and numerous extended family and friends.
