Chad Turner DePasquale

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Chad Turner DePasquale on October 4, 2026, in Charlottesville, VA.

Born on April 14, 1974, in Charlottesville, VA, Chad was a friend, nephew, cousin, brother, and son who always brought joyful laughter and a contagious smile to wherever he was. He loved listening to and playing music, learning to play the guitar at an early age before ascending to the bass as his instrument of choice. He loved playing with family and friends and will be missed by the many people he knew.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Greene; grandparents, Patricia A. Shiflett, Carroll T. Shiflett, Georgia DePasquale, Joseph DePasquale, Herman Rock, and Ann Rock; and the love of his life, Melissa “Missy” Brown.

He is survived by his mother, Cheri M. Greene; brother, Mark E. Greene; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date as we grieve the loss of our beloved family member and friend. Merry meet again.
