Carol Adams Crawford, 86, of Barboursville, VA, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on October 29, 1938, in Gordonsville, VA to the late James and Mary Smith Adams. Carol dedicated over forty years of service to Comdial, where she was respected for her commitment, dependability, and warm personality. She deeply valued the time spent with her family and friends, always bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Known for her kind heart and welcoming nature, Carol never met a stranger and had a special way of brightening every room she entered. In her downtime, she enjoyed working on word search puzzles and following her favorite sports teams. A devoted sports enthusiast, Carol kept up with the latest games and could always be found cheering on her teams. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity of spirit, love of family, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Collier and husband, Molay of Barboursville, VA; two sons, Timothy R. Crawford and wife Sandy of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kenneth Wayne Crawford and Molly of Charlottesville, VA; her sisters, Peggy Morris and husband Wayne of Orange, VA, and Elizabeth Adams Shaw; six grandchildren, Bobby, Adam, Tiffany, Tee, Colleen, and Jordan; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth L. Crawford; and her sisters, MaryAnn O'Coin and Phyllis Blanchette. A service to honor Carol's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville.
