Betty Klipfel was born Betty Jo Gates on March 28, 1935, to Lily Cox Gates and John Gates. She was the only surviving child of Lily, who later married Otha Faulkner and he became the father of her heart. Betty married twice, first to James Carl Gaydon in 1951 and they had two daughters, Carloyn Sue Gaydon and Brenda Kay Gaydon, her second marriage was to Willard John Klipfel in December of 1961 and had to sons, Keith Allen Klipfel and Kent Willard Klipfel. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Willard, and daughter Carolyn Noller. Betty is survived by daughter Brenda Leza and son-in-law Ray Leza, sons Keith and Kent Klipfel, grandsons Nick Noller and Ben Noller, grand daughters Jerilyn Gaydon and Peggy Boyd, Nicks 2 children, Jerilyn's two daughters Chrystalyn and Mikayla, and Peggy's daughter Meghan. Betty also loved Peggy's fianc Ed Schwab and his two sons Zachary and Benjamin. Betty spent the last 15 years of her life living and loving in the home of granddaughter Peggy and great-grandaughter Meghan Boyd along with Ed and his sons Zack and Ben. She was so proud of them and loved to show off the "4 generations" when her daughter came for visits. Betty passed on August 15, 2020 quietly and beautifully in the arms of her granddaughter around 8 pm. This woman of first tattoo's in her 60's and body piercings in her 70's and vivid purple hair will be sorely missed by all who loved her. She may have been grouchy at the end of her life, but she was never dull. Carry on and save us all a place at the table when we get there to see you again. I love you Mommy.
