David Keith Shaulis, age 57, of Bishopville, Maryland, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at his residence. He was born on June 13, 1967, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the youngest of five children to the late Irene (Muccioli) and Richard Shaulis Sr. Dave was a talented handyman and masterful carpenter who devoted his life to construction, taking immense pride in the quality of his work. His home stood as a testament to his skill and care, always tidy, with a well-manicured yard and a vibrant little garden. Drawn to the ocean, he found serenity on the water, whether boating, fishing, or simply feeling the sea breeze. He had a lifelong love for motorcycles and a strong admiration for classic muscle cars. With his easy smile and signature bandana, Dave had a way of making everyone feel like a friend. He greeted all with genuine warmth and was always willing to help, even when he had little to spare. He is survived by his children: Amanda Shaulis, Robin Shaulis, Reanna Tisch and her husband Alex, and David Shaulis and his wife Kylie. Dave also leaves behind his siblings, Rebecca Bove, Richard Shaulis Jr., Phillip Shaulis, and Adam Shaulis; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeremy Cominsky, and his sister-in-law, Debra Shaulis.
